Emma Watson Is Taking a Year Off From Acting

The Harry Potter actress revealed in an interview with fellow feminist bell hooks for Paper Magazine that she's taking a year off from acting to increase her education and the reach of her HeForShe organization.

The work with HeForShe already began in January when Watson recruited 10 CEOs to be IMPACT champions and release the internal makeup of their companies for public review.

The actress will also be taking time for travel and "field trips," an arts week, a university tour as well as launching a new website for HeForShe.
