Elkhorn South's 43-33 win over Waverly nets 1st girls title

LINCOLN, Nebraska - Paige Piatkowski had 11 points and five rebounds and Elkhorn South won its first state championship in girls basketball with a 43-33 victory over Waverly in the Class B title game Saturday.
