MVSU takes out No. 2 seed Alcorn State in SWAC quarters

HOUSTON - Marcus Romain had 22 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks to help seventh-seeded Mississippi Valley State beat No. 2 seed Alcorn State 64-61 Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament.
