You can hear the water running about a block away from the breached aquifer that is spilling millions of litres of water daily into one of Vancouver's wealthiest neighbourhoods. It starts as a quiet burble from the city's storm drains and builds the closer you get to the construction site on Beechwood Street, where a driller punctured the underground water source in the fall.
