Buhari wants to ruin him? Nigerians lash Fashola as power supply worsens
Nigerians had high expectations for this present administration led by President Muhammdu Buhari but it appears those hopes are being dashed on a daily basis.
A lot of promises were made by the All Progressives Congress during the campaign period, especially about the power supply in the nation.
When Buhari appointed the former governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola as the minister of works, housing and power, Nigerians were happy. They referred to him as the ‘Super Minister’, expecting him to bring a lasting solution to the poor power supply in the country.
The same people who were praising Fashola are now in doubt over his ability to improve the power situation in the country.
The electricity generation profile in the country has continued to drop. The nation achieved its peak generation of 5,074.70MW on February 2, but in March it dropped by 1,647.88 megawatts to 4,447.88MW.

On Wednesday, March 9, it dropped further to 1,580.6 megawatts following a suspected partial systems collapse.
Nigerians are beginning to complain about the poor power supply and Fashola is at the receiving end of their criticism.
I totally forgot fashola is still a minister….talk is cheap , action is key.

Fashola is a brilliant but over-hyped man. Buhari fell for the propaganda and handed over Nigeria’s problems to him. But, talk is Cheap.

“@Bar_Baric: How long will Government wait before revoking the license of IKEDC?! Wat is Fashola doing? @MBuhari, @TundeFashola” blaming GEJ

No light. The inverter is exhausted. I’m tempted to pick on Fashola. The ‘epilepsy’ of power supply now is very disheartening @tundefashola

Fashola once said under GEJ that Nigerians were paying for darkness, but even now we’re paying more 4 darkness
