Election in sight, Chennai Corporation goes on a road repair spree

The Greater Chennai Corporation is on a road-laying spree with the assembly election fast approaching and the financial year drawing to a close on March 31. Work is progressing apace in several areas as roads appear to a have high `visibility value' among voters.
