A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) Ebenezer Babatope, has expressed confidence that the party will send the administration of President Muhammadu packing in the 2019 general elections.
Presdent Buhari has been faulted for allowing the DSS and the EFCC harass opposition politicians under the guise of fighting corruption.
Babatope, made the statement in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, March 10, when he paid a visit to Governor Ayo Fayose to show solidarity over the alleged invasion of the Ekiti state House of Assembly and arrest of four lawmakers, by the Department of State Service (DSS).

According to The Nigerian Eye, Babatope said the comeback of the PDP in 2019 was already predicted by the party’s victories in the recent elections. He said this was a pointer that PDP was already gaining the upper hand in Nigeria.
“Apparently, there must be reasons why people now follow us. I can tell you that the APC’s romance with power would terminate in 2019,” he said.
The former minister of Transport flayed the DSS and the EFCC for harassing opposition politicians under the guise of fighting corruption.

He advised President Buhari not to dump democracy for selective justice, warning that doing such could destroy the president.
Meanwhile, Governor Ayodele Fayose of the Ekiti state has he won’t stop criticizing the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
The governor said no policy of the federal government that is unfriendly to the welfare of the people would be spared by his comments.
