Lawmakers join maple syrup industry against false claims

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Federal lawmakers from maple syrup-producing states are joining industry groups in calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to take action against products that falsely claim to contain maple syrup.
