Speaker: Justice Adi cannot attend office

Assembly speaker Kagodu Thimmappa on Thursday said Upa Lokayukta Justice Subhash B Adi can not attend office as a case for inquiry against him is pending with the chief justice of the Karnataka high court. After holding a meeting with legal experts and some senior legislators, Thimmappa said he would direct Justice Adi to stop attending office till the CJ submits an inquiry report. “I can't directly write to him but will ask the department of personnel & administrative reforms (DPAR) to do so since it's an administrative issue,“ Thimmappa told reporters.
