Cleric reveals what actually brought Jonathan down

Ezeala Oswald says the failure of Jonathan to tackle corruption in the country was one of the major factors that led to his electoral defeat.
The general overseer of Commission House of God, Apostle Ezeala Oswald has identified the failure to tackle corruption in the country as the major reason immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan failed to secure reelection.

The cleric, according to Daily Post, noted that in sharp contrast to Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari started the anti-corruption crusade transparently by declaring his personal assets.
“This was what Nigerians expected from former President Jonathan, but unfortunately, he never met the aspirations of Nigerians.
Speaking in Owerri, Imo state yesterday March 10, Oswald lamented that the present challenges faced in the country was as a result of the ungodly actions of few selfish leaders.
He expressed confidence that Buhari’s crusade against graft will clean up the system polluted by previous administrations.

Meanwhile, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, the senate majority Leader has stated that that former president Goodluck Jonathan should face trial if he instigated the sharing of $2.1billion given to Sambo Dasuki, the former national security adviser, for procurement of arms.
The senator stressed that anybody who is involved in that blood money should be held responsible for the crime.
