French Polynesia is calling for $998, the price of a round-trip fare from LAX to Papeete, Tahiti, on Air Tahiti Nui.

The fare, which includes all taxes and fees, is good for travel from Sept. 1-Dec. 13, but you must buy your ticket by March 17.

You may stay no more than 15 days.
