The spring season is upon us and with it, more and more artists are announcing big tours. For some, concerts are a fun way to spend a night out, for others, going to a show can be closer to a religious experience. Regardless of how you engage with live music, there’s a ton of good stuff coming, and it’s best you know about these shows earlier rather than later, so you can be saved from scalpers up-selling tickets by as much as 400% of their list price.
With that in mind, here are some tours coming up that are worth your money.
Paul McCartney
TicketmasterThere is something magical about seeing a Beatle. Last year I watched from afar as McCartney played a headliner set at Firefly Music Festival, basically awestruck the entire time. Playing onstage was a man who has possibly entertained more people than anyone else in the history of humanity. Embrace the fact that you get to be alive at the same time as Paul McCartney.

Chris Cornell
TicketmasterThe announcement of Chris Cornell’s summer tour came as good news to some, bad news to others. For those holding out for the next Soundgarden record, Cornell's solo run delays your joy for a bit, but give his new solo record "Higher Truth" a listen and you'll quickly find that he's well worth seeing on his own.

CHVRCHES and Death Cab for Cutie
Ticketmaster
CHVRCHES is one of the best dance parties in the music business right now. Their latest release "Every Open Eye" is filled with tracks you can’t help but move to. Their co-headlining this tour with Ben Gibbard and his Death Cab for Cutie compatriots, a show that would personally (although I’m willing to bet I’m not alone here) create a tidal wave of nostalgia involving high school romances and more viscerally, the end of said high school romances.
