– Afro pop musician Ju-drum releases video for new dance single Jusi le

– Ju-drum, real name Jude Osadolor, was formerly a band member with Afro beat star Femi Kuti before leaving to pursue a solo music career

Femi Kuti’s former drummer Jude Osadolo more popularly known as Ju-drum has released the video to his newest song Jusi le off the album Energy.

It was shot in California, United States, and directed by Tim Cash.

It is a groovy party song that which shows people dancing along to the melody in the beats, saxophone and guitar strings.

Jusi le is an Afro pop piece with elements of the Coupe-Decale genre. Overall, the song has unmistakable Afro beats flavor in it.

Ju-drum started his music career first as a drummer playing for churches and then on to his father’s music school and so on.

He later got into Femi Kuti’s band and played the drums for the Afro beat star for some time.

He has also performed and toured with the band Jah Blessings around West Africa. They were signed to Afro Desia records at the time.

The group’s hit album was titled Bongo Man.

Ju-drum has also played with many popular artistes in Nigeria, enjoying relative successes with them.

Afterwards, he joined Femi Kuti’s band Positive Force in the early 90’s where he played the drums as we as toured the world with the band

During his time with Femi Kuti, they band recorded hit songs like Bang Bang Bang, Wonder Wonder and Truth Don Die among others.

Ju-drum has other released songs like Rebel, Energy, Everything gon be alright and Tribute Praise.
