Early-March scores high on rain meter
New Delhi: After witnessing a 96% rain deficit in January and February, Delhi has received a windfall with 12.9mm rain recorded in the first 11 days of March against a monthly normal of 15.9mm. Between 8.30am and 8.30pm on Friday, the Safdarjung observatory recorded 6.7mm rain with the promise of more to come over the next two days.
