Ahead of their week-six game of the Nigerian Premier League against Ifeanyi Ubah FC, the central defender of Ikorodu United Moshood Kabiru has vowed that he will stop the the opposition’s attackers, led by two Brazilians from scoring against his team, adding that his side will go all out for victory.

The ‘Oga Boys’ as Ikorodu United players are popularly called have stormed Nnewi for their second away game in the NPFL billed for Sunday March 13, against Ifeanyi Ubah FC.

It would be recalled that Ifeanyi Ubah football club signed 10 Brazilian nationals with which five of them immediately joined the team and have started settling with the Nnewi based side.
In an exclusive chat with Naij.com Sports, Kabiru who was outstanding for his side in the Lagos derby against MFM FC, disclosed that the match against the ‘Anambra Warriors’ would be a tough one, the Brazilian attackers will face a stern opposition in him.
He said: “They are equally a great side but I will try my very best in that game. I know they have Brazilian strikers, but I assure you they have just two legs.
“They are neither Messi nor Ronaldo, and even if they are, I will mark them out. I can tackle any one because they are not special.”

Kabiru played full 90minutes of the Lagos derby and almost got the goal in the 85th minute as his shot from outside the area was deflected inches over the bar, and the player expressed disappointment that didn’t get in.
“It was a very difficult game especially because it’s a derby. I felt so bad that my shot slightly missed target in the 85th minute; had it gone in, we would have won,” he raved.
