200 new tele-callers to take max distress calls
The complaint redressal capacity of the 1090 women power line (WPL) call centre will be enhanced three-times by the end of this month with addition of more computers and communication officers. Formed in 2012 to help women in distress facing abusive callers and stalkers, the centre is being revamped to increase the seating capacity and will function like 108 ambulance service.
