Sunday Morning Bobblehead Thread
Fox "news" has been running interference for Trump all weekend and doing their best to give him cover for inciting violence at his rallies. I'm curious whether the talking heads on these Sunday bobblehead shows will follow suit, or if any of them will actually take him on over just how dangerous his rhetoric has become.
I don't expect much given our corporate media's inclination to play the "both sides do it" game with every single issue, and them continually rewarding the likes of Trump with more and more airtime the more outrageous he becomes. They love the sensationalism as long as it's good for their ratings.
Here's this week's not so "fair and balanced" lineup filled with right wing talking heads as usual from the Orlando Sentinel (check your local listings for stations and times in your area):
Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio, talk to CBS' "Face the Nation" at 10:30 a.m. on WKMG-Channel 6. The panel will be Nancy Cordes of CBS, Michael Duffy of Time, Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic and Peggy Noonan of The Wall Street Journal.
Kasich and Trump are guests on "Fox News Sunday" at 10 a.m. on WOFL-Channel 35. Another guest is Alex Skatell, CEO and founder of Independent Journal Review. The panel will be Juan Williams, Karl Rove, Julie Pace of The Associated Press and Kimberley Strassel of The Wall Street Journal.
