Shame: Daughter lays serious allegation against her father

– A nine-year-old girl narrated how her father had carnal knowledge

– The father denied the allegation in court

– He claimed he was being framed due to the quarrel he had with his wife

In what might be considered a shocking revelation, a nine-year-old girl has accused her father John Ofoegbu of having carnal knowledge of her.

At a Port Harcourt high court, Justice Adolphus Enebeli sentenced the father to two years imprisonment for having sexual intercourse with his Nine year old daughter.

Justice Enebeli in his judgement ruled that from all the evidence before court, he was convinced that the accused committed the crime.

Justice Enebeli condemned the Ofoegbu for exploiting the bond of relationship between him and the daughter to sexually abuse his Nine year old innocent daughter.

The Judge sentenced the randy father to two years imprisonment despite already spending five years in prison awaiting trial.

The nine year old daughter had told the court that her father had sexually abused her thrice; twice in his bedroom and once in a hotel in Trans-Amadi in Port Harcourt.

The state prosecuting counsel, Cordelia Eke, said the judgement will serve as deterrent to other randy fathers and men who derive pleasures from abusing innocent girls, worse still their daughters.

In a related development, a seven-year-old girl caused a stir when she accused her father, Prophet Benjamin Bernard of having carnal knowledge of her.
