Creator of The 100 Speaks on Controversial Character Death

Three weeks ago, The CW aired an episode of The 100 featuring the death of fan favorite, Lexa, immediately following a love scene between her and series protagonist, Clarks.

After the episode, fans expressed their displeasure with the death, proclaiming it to be another example of television's trope of killing off gay female characters.
