Creator of Luther Bringing The Talented Mr. Ripley to TV

The Talented Mr. Ripley, famously adapted from a novel to the 1999 film starring Matt Damon and Jude Law, is now making its way to the small screen with the help of Luther creator Neil Cross.

While the movie never went further than an initial feature, the book on which it is based went on to become a longer franchise featuring titles including Ripley Under Ground in 1970, Ripley's Game in 1974, The Boy Who Followed Ripley in 1980 and Ripley Under Water in 1991.
