Unaoil Threatened To Seek Injunction Before Publication Of Bribery Expose

NEW YORK -- Unaoil, the Monaco-based company at the center of an international bribery scandal, threatened this week to prevent publication of an investigation into its business practices. 

Australia’s Fairfax Media and The Huffington Post on Wednesday published the results of a six-month investigation into Unaoil paying bribes on behalf of major corporations doing business in the Middle East. The reporting was supported by hundreds of thousands of leaked emails and documents.
