Changing Her Tune? Jennifer Lawrence Says She’s “Dying” To Return For More ‘X-Men’ Sequels

Oh, really? This is interesting.“It is my last one, actually,” Jennifer Lawrence said back in March of 2015. Her career at an apex, she had only signed up for a three-film contract with the “X-Men” franchise and given that she’d become an Academy Award mainstay— nominated four times in five years and already has a Best Actress Oscar actor under her belt—it seemed the thespian, tired of tedious blue make-up application, was done with the series. And her comment of course, came on the heels of a potential Mystique movie.

The shapeshifter had always been a supporting character in the comics and the movies, but Lawrence proved to be such a huge star during the middle of the “X-Men” movies, 20th Century Fox had thought to leverage her popularity by giving her character a solo film (indeed, they gave the character an amped up role in ‘Days Of Future Past’ and look to be doing the same in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse”).
