The increasing rate of attacks on the oil company’s facilities by suspected vandals has been condemned by the leaders of the Olugbo kingdom. They also condemned the disastrous Easter holiday explosion which was reported to have been triggered by the dynamite left behind by those that breached the Tebidaba-brass delivery line in the area.

According to reports by Vanguard, the arrested suspect, who is an indigene of Olugboboro, and four others who are yet to be caught were reported to have been the masterminds of the last attack on Tebidaba-brass pipeline which happened on Thursday.

Reports say the suspect and his allies broke a section of the Tebidaba-brass pipeline around the Olugboboro-Tebidaba axis with the use of explosives considered to be dynamites.

“We are on the trail of the other suspects and they will not escape justice,” an anonymous official of NSCDC said.

The leaders of Olugbobiri community acted quickly and were able to arrest Perekeye who was one of the suspects with the support of the NSCDC operatives and the youth body while the others escaped.
