The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has short-paid the senior national team, super eagles of Nigeria after their failure to qualify for the AFCON 2017.
In an exclusive chat with NAIJ.com Sports, a top NFF official said the federation cheated the players as they only got $400 dollars instead of $1,000.
Recall that the NFF has been broke since last year as there are no signs of them signing a new partnership with any new sponsor in sight.

The Player we gathered got all the needed support from good food, adequate healthcare but money was not part of the motivation.
A player of the Super Eagles confirmed the story to NAIJ.com: “We were not paid the agreed allowance and this is a low-blow coming from the Federation, we all accepted the cash, do we have a choice?
“We did not qualify and this is not the fault of any player, I cannot blame myself or my other teammates, we have done our best, Nigerians should please forgive the team,” the Europe based player who pleaded anonymity apologised.
Meanhwile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has issued a statement following the failure of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
