League Management fines FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Sunshine stars, others
– The local football has placed huge fine and bans on Sunshine Stars
– FC Ifeanyi Ubah was also at the receiving end from the LMC
– Plateau and Rangers also were also found guilty of punishable offences
The League management committee has wielded its axe against FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Sunshine Stars Plateau United and Enugu Rangers respectively.

Sunshine Stars has been fined a whooping N6.2million and have been handed a three home match ban whereby their home games will be played behind closed doors in their Akure stadium.
This ban N6.2 million includes N5million for disturbing recording toward the end of the game.
The other two offences were for the attacking of officials at the VIP stand and the inability to control the home crowd which attracted N750,000 and N500,000 respectively.

The LMC clearly stated on their media page that the Akure based side should produce the perpetrators of the attacks on the league match day and that it will not lift the ban if there are no reasonable changes by the Club.
Ifeanyi Ubah on the other hand were reprimanded for pitch encroachment with a N500, 000 fine
In the light of investigation, fresh video evidence has emerged and further punitive measures will be taken by the Football House.
Plateau United were also axed for security breaches also the spokesman for Enugu Rangers, Foster Chime, who made abusive remarks to referees after matches was not spared.
The LMC has made clear at the beginning of the season that there are no sacred cows in Nigerian football and that no Club found guilty will go unpunished.
