Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is sure that his club can exact revenge against Barcelona when the two Spanish heavyweights meet on Saturday.

The peak of football rivalry will return to Spain as Real Madrid travel to Camp Nou to face the star-studded Catalan giants Barcelona on Saturday April 2, for another episode of the El Clasico.

Real were humiliated 4-0 on home turf back in November.

No doubt, Luis Enriques’s men look good to win the exceptional showdown as they come into the game with 23 victories in their last 23 competitive home games, but the Zinedine Zidane-tutored side are very strong in the defensive line and have big chances to make a great match.

Despite the fact that Ramos and Real have not won at Barcelona in the league in almost four years he said: “After the bad result in the first Clasico, football gives you the chance for revenge. On Saturday we have the chance to play away from home against a great team in Barcelona.”

“We know we want to do well, and the team has a very good dynamic. We have a positive mentality and will go there intent on making a great game, getting the three points and closing the gap on them in the league,”  the 30-year-old stressed.

Real are currently the third in the league.
