Madras HC warns criminal action over illegal hoardings

Irked by the menace of illegal hoardings, the Madras high court has warned that it will take criminal and punitive action against people erecting unauthorised hoardings and banners in the city. The court was hearing a petition on the matter filed by social activist K R ‘Traffic' Ramaswamy.
