Tangedco cuts losses by Rs 4,000 crore

Tamil Nadu's refusal to join the Ujwal Discom Assurance Yojana (Uday) has been justified with the beleaguered Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (Tangedco) bringing down its losses by 4,000 crore in the current year (2015-16).
