Gold worth Rs 75 lakh seized
Around 2.5kg of gold worth 75 lakh was seized from a passenger who arrived at Chennai airport on a flight from Abu Dhabi. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized the gold from Paramapad Kandy of Kerala. He was carrying the gold bars in tea cans.
