Starbucks opens Starbucks Express in Chicago's Union Station
Starbucks Corp. said it opened a new Starbucks Express cafe in Chicago's Union Station on Thursday, the company's fifth. Starbucks Express cafes feature a "streamlined" menu with brewed coffee, espresso beverages and select food items. The Chicago outpost is 635 square feet. Other Starbucks Express locations are in New York and Toronto. Starbucks shares are up 1.1% in premarket trading and up 26% over the past year. The S&P 500 is up 0.2% for the past 12 months.
