Captured by photographer-to-the-stars Annie Leibovitz, whose images have graced the cover of Vogue and Vanity Fair countless times, the picture shows the nonagenarian cuddling up to Princess Charlotte, who turns 1 on May 2, while George stands to the side of his sister and “Gan-Gan.” Mia Tindall, a cousin, stands to the right clutching onto the Queen’s handbag. The image was taken last month in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle and was said to be a “lovely, jolly affair” and “very relaxed.” Although attempting to get seven young children to sit still and smile for a world-famous photograph can’t have been an easy feat.
