Nigerian music star denies being in love affair with sexy singer
– Music star Falz speaks on combining rapping, comedy and acting
– On his relationship with singer Simi, the entertainer said there is no romantic affair going on between them at present
Rapper and comedian Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana spoke to Channels TV recently on his career and how he’s managed to juggle acting, comedy and music explaining that it’s been easy for him because everything happens naturally.
He said: “It’s difficult but at the end of the day it’s not so difficult for me because my brand already has that element of comedy in the music. So it’s like both are already married so it’s about separating them at different points in time, doing things that are just comedy and doing things that are just music. But for me it’s not too difficult and so far I am glad and thankful about the way that I’ve been able to manage it.”

From accolades to winning laurels, Falz has gotten some of the most coveted awards in Nigeria for music and acting in just a short space of time and this feat will see him become the host of the popular Big Friday Show on MTV Base which was previously hosted by comedy heavyweight Basketmouth. But he says there are no pressures whatsoever on him.
“No pressure, my brand is different, everyone is different. Basketmouth is Basketmouth, Falz Tha Bahd Guy is Falz Tha Bahd Guy,” he said as he made a joke out of the question.
Folarin has made several hit songs over the last few years and one conspicuous character in his music and videos is X3M pop singer Simi with whom he made Soldier not to forget he blessed her song Jamb Question prior to this time.

They have both been spotted hanging out at several functions during and after performances but he insists there is nothing romantic going on between them.
He said: “At this current moment we are not dating but you never know what the future holds. I will just leave it there.”
In the past, Simi has also been linked with YBNL singer Adekunle Gold but she refuses to confirm this whenever asked.
In 2015, she spoke exclusively to Naij.com on her music, the reception from fans and how much she misses her late father. But when asked about her love life and whether or not she is dating the Orente singer, she declined commenting.

Falz is a Nigerian rapper, song writer and brand ambassador. His father is a respected Nigerian lawyer and Human Rights Activist.
Falz was born in Lagos and is a graduate of the University of Reading, England. He was called to the bar in 2012 but left the legal profession shortly after practicing in his father’s chamber in pursuit of greatness in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
In 2015, he released the album Stories That Touch which has several hit songs and has received rave reviews across various spheres of the Nigerian entertainment industry.
