MTV Announces Reimagined Unplugged, Zac Efron Docu-Series
The long-running series, launched in 1989, featured artists performing live acoustic versions of their hit songs -- including memorable sets by Nirvana, A Tribe Called Quest and even Mariah Carey.
"The project will look beyond the extravagant and obscure in food to explore the artistry, storytelling and journeys in what we eat, and the issues and experiences surrounding what we find on our plates," the network's release said.
Jumping on the current true crime bandwagon, MTV will also debut a serialized docu-series, MTV's The Investigation, about allegedly, wrongfully convicted prisoners fighting for their freedom.
The Voice and Shark Tank producer Mark Burnett will bring undiscovered hip hop talent into the recording studio for their change to impress music moguls.
