What goes around comes around. Or at least, that certainly seems to be the case with this season’s latest sartorial offerings.

Slips, a Nineties grunge staple, are being championed by the likes of Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Zara. Avoid venturing into risqué territory by plumping for longer designs and layering. Leave the rest to the imagination.

We never thought we’d see the day where tracksuits turned high-end, but when Chloé, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta speak, we tend to listen.

Typically seen as urban, the look is being reclaimed in a major way – thanks in part to slinky sweatpants, an accessories overhaul, and the addition of heels.

Paris-based Vetements is also helping to fuel the casual style movement. Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Rita Ora, and Chiara Ferragni have already been spotted in the brand’s designer hoodie.

With the - albeit delayed - arrival of spring, the pastel shade periwinkle is in bloom.

Acting as the perfect accompaniment to track pants - see Chloé’s spring collection - the trend adds a feminine flair to what is being dubbed 'athleisure'.

Don't think 'heels' conjur up ideas of 'leisure'? You should never expect the fashion world to become too casual.
