Removal of subsidy: Read what Jonathan’s former aide said about Buhari, Osinbajo
– Nigerians were hit with the news of fuel subsidy removal and increase on fuel price on Wednesday
– Reno Omokri wondered if power changes people as President Buhari and his deputy, Osinbajo had opposed subsidy removal years back
The recent increase in fuel price has generated controversial reactions from Nigerians. While some think it’s a welcome idea long overdue, others are not happy with the decision which they feel will add to the suffering of the masses.
The official price of petrol was N87 per litre until Wednesday, May 10, when it was announced that the federal government has removed subsidy and fuel will now sell for N145 per litre.
In reaction, Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan faulted Nigerians who criticized his former boss in 2012 for removing fuel subsidy but are now praising President Muhammadu Buhari for doing the same thing.
Ironically the same people who flailed @GEJonathan for removing subsidy in January 2012 are the ones hailing @MBuhari for removing it today!

First you denounce @GEJonathan for attempting to remove subsidy, then you deny that it exist, finally you remove what you say doesn’t exist!
