Why NBC May Be Your Go-To Destination for Comedy Again

The latest shows going to series from the network -- a DC comics workplace comedy Powerless, legal comedy Trial & Errorand Mike Schur's The Good Place -- suggest NBC may be looking to reclaim its sitcom dominance after scrapping its iconic Thursday comedy block last spring.

According to Variety, there's still a Marlon Wayans sitcom, Marlon,and Stockard Channing starrer Me and Mean Margaret with the potential to find a home at NBC as well.

[...] the network could shuffle its Chicago trilogy to one night to make room for a comedy set-up on Tuesday or Wednesday -- putting it in more affable competition with the FOX or ABC sitcom blocks.
