What Ben Bruce, PDP chieftains were up to this weekend (PHOTOS)

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce was spotted in the company of bigwigs of the Nigeria’s former ruling party, the PDP.

The Common Sense Advocate attended the zonal congress of the Peoples Democratic Party in the capital of Rivers state, Port Harcourt, on Saturday, May 14.

The senator who represents Bayelsa East constituency shared some photos from the crucial political event on his official Twitter handle.

Ben Bruce is a businessman, the chairman of Silverbird Group. The politician has a critical stance on the actions and decisions of the Buhari administration. He calls himself the ‘common sence advocate’ and promotes ‘a commonsense revolution’.

This week Ben Bruce reacted to Wednesday’s move by the federal government to increase the fuel price from N86.5 to N145 per litre, said he would consider buying a horse.

Then the senator got serious and urged the government to increase the minimum wage as a compensation for hike in PMS price.

Ben Bruce noted that President Buhari and his cabinet do not buy fuel with their money, yet earn more than minimum wage workers who do. In his view, the masses need such kind of help to ease their ‘suffering’.
