Northeast Nigeria has for the past seven years suffered devastation from Boko Haram militants who have waged war on Nigerian security forces through guerrilla and conventional warfare and carried out mindless killings and suicide bombings.

Following the reign of terror by the insurgents, tens of thousands of people have been killed or injured, while millions have been displaced and entire communities uprooted.

But at the centre of this insurgency war are thousands of children, some of whom are severely malnourished in camps for those displaced by the militants.
As a result of the devastation of infrastructure in northeast, Nigeria millions of children forced to flee from their homes have had their education disrupted.
However, some of these children living in displaced persons camps across the country have been undeterred by the setbacks they have faced and have begun their learning process
Naij.com recently visited the Uhogua camp for the Internally Displaced Persons in Edo state and brings you amazing photos of Boko Haram survivors engaging in learning process.
