Against all odds and despite fighting in the ongoing war against Boko Haram, Nigerian soldier Henry Edobor is grateful he is alive to celebrate his birthday

Henry Edobor who hails from Igbanke, Rivers state, is currently serving Nigeria in Borno state, where he along with other soldiers are waging a war against Boko Haram.

Edobor who recently welcomed a baby girl Chimamanda Edobor with his wife, turned a year older and took to his Facebook page to share his gratitude and joy.

“I REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT AND SPECIAL TODAY IS TO ME BECAUSE A BIRTHDAY COME ONCE IN A YEAR SO I CELEBRATE TODAY FILLED WITH HAPPINESS & JOY WITH LOVE FROM MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN ALL THE NATION & IN FRONT LINE A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME “AMANDA” WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SEE THIS”
