Activist investor Carl Icahn went mostly on a selling spree, reducing or eliminating positions in his portfolio, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing late Monday. Icahn eliminated his stakes in Gannett Co. , Hologic Inc. , Mentor Graphics Corp. , and Tegna Inc. Also, the filing confirmed that Icahn had unloaded his last 4.8 million shares of Apple Inc. . Icahn added to his current positions in Herbalife Ltd. and Xerox Corp.
