On Saturday May 14, 2016, Davido’s daughter Imade celebrated her first birthday with a star-studded gig which held a day after her birthday.
Imade Aurora Oluwadamilola Adeleke was clocked one on Saturday, May 14 but her birthday party was held a day after, Sunday May 15, 2016 at her grandfather Elder Adedeji Adeleke’s residence at Esther Adeleke Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, but her mother Sophie Momodu was missing in action.
Ever since the baby abduction mess raised by Sophie Momodu and her uncle Dele Momodu against Davido and her sister Ashley Coco over Imade on December 29, 2015 and the dirty exchange of words that followed, both families, the Adelekes and Momodus have tried to maintain a peaceful relationship without friction.

So on Imade’s birthday, Saturday, May 14, Davido allowed Imade to be with her mother, Sophie. Mother and daughter had a swell time to bond and ruminate on Imade’s birth away from family and friends while Sunday, May 15 was daddy and daughter’s day.
To really show it was their day together, Davido and his daughter rocked matching designer T-Shirts from Dolce & Gabbana.
Meanwhile both parents of Imade have denied the rumour of Sophie being denied access to Imade’s birthday.
