Gunmen kidnap wife of veteran comedian

– Wife of ace comedian Mrs Chime Ogbolosingha was abducted in Rivers state

– Mr Chime Mike Ogbolosingha was also the Chairman of Yenogoa local government

– The comedian disclosed that the gunmen are yet to contact any member of the family

On Sunday, May 15, wife of popular Rivers state comedian Mrs Chime Mike Ogbolosingha was kidnapped at their Elenprawon residence, Obio Akpor local government area in the state.

The comedian who was the former Chairman of Yenogoa local government in Bayelsa disclosed that he has alerted the police on the abduction of his wife and the kidnappers have not established any contact with any member of the family.

According to Vanguard, Ogbolosingha further added: “I was returning to Port Harcourt from Bayelsa, when I got a call that my wife had been kidnapped. They broke into my house, took away every valuable and still went away with my wife. “I am begging for the release of my wife. The kidnappers have not called me or any member of the family since the incident on Sunday. They should please release my wife I am begging those holding her.”

However, on Thursday, May 12, a female banker 33-year old Mrs Bukola Olowookere was declared missing after she was last seen in the company of her colleagues at Canoe bus-stop, Oke-Afa area of Lagos state, at about 8:30pm.

When her husband did not see her midnight he reported the case immediately to the Ejibo police division. Her phone was dialed but someone picked up the call but did not say anything.

However, her church the Redeemed Church of God, Place of Mercy Parish, Area 26, zone three of Lagos Province 61 has decided to reward anyone who knows her whereabouts with N500, 000.
