Top star set to join Arsenal

Arsenal are closer than ever to signing Borussia Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka after agreeing personal terms with the Swiss midfielder.
Arsenal have been long credited with a move for the midfielder who has been one of the best players in Germany since moving Monchengladbach in 2013.
The 23 year old’s transfer is expected to b completed before the start of Euro 2016 after the player agreed personal terms with the club, Goal.com reports.
Arsenal chief transfer negotiator Dick Law has already drawn up an impressive financial package for the Switzerland star which he is likely to accept.

The only road block is a transfer fee with the German club wanting less than €30 million which Arsenal are unwilling to pay.
Wenger is looking to bolster his squad this summer in order to compete against a Manchester City side coached by Pep Guardiola, an invigorated Liverpool side, Chelsea coached by Antonio Conte and Manchester United who would likely by coached by Jose Mourinho.
Arsenal are also looking to sign Bolton defender Rob Holding despite an initial bid of £750,000 being rejected.
The Gunners expect the trio of Tomas Rosciky, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini to leave the club this summer which would free up midfield spaces while there are indications from Santi Carzola that he would return to Villareal after Euro 2016.
This would leave Mohamed Elneny, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin as midfield options for Wenger with Xhaka expected to join them.
Meanwhile, City’s new boss Guardiola has identified Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta as one of his targets with the former a player and the latter expected to join his coaching team.
