Two people and dog escape fiery boat near Leo Carrillo State Beach
Two people and a dog escaped a boat fire that erupted Tuesday morning in the waters off Leo Carrillo State Beach, officials said.
The blaze started around 7:30 a.m. about six miles offshore from Decker Canyon, said Lidia Barillas, a spokeswoman for the L.A. County Fire Department's Lifeguard Division.
