Hundreds of local youths in Bauchi state have gone on the march to register their support for the fuel subsidy removal.
The Nigerian government decided to removal the federal subsidy on Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) petrol, causing the price of petrol to skyrocket for N86.50 to N145.

The petroleum minister Emmanuel Kachikwu has defended the government’s decision, however this has not stopped thousands of Nigerians across the nation making their discontent known.
Today however, the youtful residents of Bauchi, the capital of Bauchi state, went on the march to demonstrate their staunch support for the government’s policy.
