Arsenal football club of England are closing-in to signing Spanish striker Alvaro Morata for a mammoth offer of £51million.

Corriere dello Sport reports that the Gunners are currently in talks with Real Madrid, who have an option to buy back the Juventus striker following his move from the Bernabeu in 2014.

Juventus however are believed to be desperate in keeping hold of the Spaniard so Arsenal could have a big battle on their hands if they are to secure his signature.

Also, Newcastle sensation Moussa Sissoko could be on his way to the Emirate club as reports according to the TransferMarketWeb, indicate that Arsenal are desperately interested in the playre for about £10million, but his contract with Newcastle remains until 2019.

The French international is set to move from the north east after the Toon’s relegation from the Premier League and Arsenal look set to reignite their interest.

Meanwhile, PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed transfer talks with his club and other teams. The Swedish striker’s contract expires at the end of the season.
