Journalist says he didn't intend readers to think Nick Di Girolamo's board appointment was because of donation

The Herald's state political editor Sean Nicholls has told a defamation trial he did not intend readers to think that Nick Di Girolamo was appointed to a government board because his company donated $10,000 to a Nationals MP.
