NLC Strike: PDP speaks, read what the party is saying
– Peoples Democratic Party have said Nigerians will one day need the help of the Nigerian Labour Congress
– The planned NLC strike was a partial success as only few states complied with the NLC directive
– NLC wants both tariffs reversed and has vowed an indefinite strike from Wednesday until the government accedes to the demands
Following the partial success of the nationwide strike called by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have said Nigerians will one day need the union.
PDP in a series of tweets via the party’s official Twitter handle accused President Buhari of being a tyrant who has caged the National assembly, press and now the labour unions.
With the partial success of the planned NLC strike as only few states complied with the NLC directive, PDP said Nigerians will beg the NLC to come to their aid when the time comes.

Also speaking about the failure of the NLC strike, Deji Adeyanju PDP’s director of new media told our reporter that the timing of the removal of subsidy is wrong but agreed that subsidy must go.
