Senator Shehu Sani lands in trouble for supporting NLC strike
– The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna state chapter says it will take disciplinary measures against Senator Shehu Sani which may lead to his expulsion from the party
– The party spokesman Salisu Wusono, says it is disappointing for a senator who passed the 2016 budget that has no provision for subsidy to turn around and attack President Buhari for implementing the decision
– Wusono alleges that Senator Shehu Sani is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who is masquerading as an APC senator
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna state chapter has threatened to kick Senator Shehu Sani who representing Kaduna central out of the party for his opposition to the fuel pump price increase.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna state chapter alleges that Senator Sehu Sani is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who was masquerading as an APC senator.
Issuing the threat during a press conference on Thursday, May 19, in Kaduna, the party’s acting publicity secretary, Mr Salisu Wusono said following Shehu Sani’s disregard for the party, the APC, Kaduna state has no option but to take further disciplinary measures that may lead to the senator’s expulsion from the party, Vanguard reports.

Wusono said it was disappointing for a senator who passed the 2016 budget that has no provision for subsidy to turn around and attack President Buhari for implementing the decision.
He said:“How can a politician with any sense of discipline or commitment to the public interest fail to see that the fuel subsidy regime is bankrupt and is no longer in the interest of our people.
“In speech and conduct, he has shown himself incapable of loyalty to our party the APC and our great leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Having ridden on the back of our party and the popularity of Buhari to get to the Senate, Sen. Sani has since abandoned any pretension to discipline or loyalty to any principle.”
The party spokesman alleged that Senator Sani was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who was masquerading as an APC senator.
He said: “Since he does not have the courage to openly decamp, we will kick him out if he continues with his anti-party activity.”
Wusono expressed the state APC’s support for federal government policies and urged party loyalists and the people of the state to also support the government.

“We applaud the courageous actions the federal government is taking to fight corruption and retrieve the public funds that were stolen by some Nigerians,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former commander of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Victor Ben Ebikabowei also known as Boyloaf has thrown his weight behind the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari
In a chat with NAIJ.com, Boyloaf said the removal of fuel subsidy is the best thing that has been done since President Buhari took over in May 2015.
