7. Vaseline helps keep ants away

As a result of the foods you cook and have in the kitchen, not having ants around is near impossible. However, this kitchen tip would help you keep them at bay, empty your dustbin frequently and do not leave uneaten food and snacks around.

8. Bread could be used to draw out burnt flavor

9. Vinegar would help thaw your frozen meat

Everyone should endeavor to have vinegar in the kitchen. Your frozen meat will thaw quickly when you add vinegar to it and it would also tenderize the meat in the process. This would save you the stress of having to soak the meat in water or wait endlessly for it to defrost.

10. Avoid storing your bananas in bunches

When storing bananas, try as much as possible to detach them from the bunch; bananas emit gases that could spoil other fruits by making them to get more ripened. Doing this will make the bananas and other fruits packed together to last longer.
